Nominate a Spotlight

Know a veteran who showed up for someone else when it counted? At an event, or in a quiet act of service. Tell us about it.

See past Spotlights

Before you nominate. Spotlights are story-driven (a paragraph, not a metric), consent-required (we ask the veteran by email before anything goes public, with an anonymity option), and non-ranked — one Spotlight per category per week, never "top three." That keeps recognition about belonging, not competition.

Who you're nominating

Their name * Please enter a name

Their email (optional, needed to ask their consent)

Category * Please pick a category

The story — who and why * Please tell us the story (at least a sentence)

About you (the nominator)

Your name * Please enter your name

Your email (optional)

Your name stays with our team. A published Spotlight says "Nominated by a fellow veteran."

We'll email the nominee for consent before anything goes public. They can decline, accept publicly, or accept anonymously — we honor whichever they choose.

Nomination received

Thank you. Editors review nominations weekly. If your nominee accepts the consent request, their Spotlight will be shared.
